URGENT: NEED MORE DETROIT COVERAGE TOMORROW!

We have not yet filled all these shifts.

Harvesting Detroit Votes for our Supreme Court Candidates

Fellow Justice Caucus Members,

You've heard this one before: "When you want something done, ask a busy person."  Well, we have some more business to do in this Supreme Court election contest.

Bill Clinton, Wayne Gretzky, and the Latest Supreme Court Poll

In the closing days of the 1992 campaign, Bill Clinton's friend, the legendary basketball coach Eddie Sutton, sent him a message:

ONLY SEVEN DAYS LEFT - WE NEED YOU TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

It’s a close race, and too many voters don’t know the names Kelley, Johnson, and McCormack.

Been too busy to help?  It’s not too late.  Now is the time.

CHECK OUT THE POLLS - YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Yesterday's Detroit Free Press reported these poll results in the Michigan Supreme Court races:

For the two 8-year term seats:

Oakland County Circuit Judge Colleen O'Brien [GOP]          11%

Now is the time.

Election Day is less than two weeks away, and we are busy every day reaching voters who do not know the names Connie Kelley, Shelia Johnson, and Bridget McCormack.  We need to reach more people, and you can help make it happen. Sign up here.

Let's take a look at the Supreme Court numbers....

In 2008, 744 people voted in a particular Wayne County precinct.  Over 91% of them voted for Barack Obama.  But only 56% of the Obama supporters voted for the Supreme Court candidate nominated by the Democratic Party.

Think that’s unusual?  What about this Washtenaw County precinct?  About 80% in that precinct voted for Barack Obama. But only 49% of the Obama supporters voted for the Supreme Court candidate nominated by the Democratic Party.

Every Minute Counts!

EVERY DAY ABSENTEE VOTERS ARE TURNING IN THEIR BALLOTS, and many of them don’t know that a straight ticket vote doesn’t include a vote for any judicial candidates. The Michigan Supreme Court interprets our laws and decides major issues for Michigan citizens:  consumer protection, worker rights, the environment, and much, much more!

Monday It Is!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
